AICRI Team Engages in Key Events in Washington, D.C.

The AICRI Team engaged in a number of high profile events in Washington, D.C. in the lead up to St. Patrick’s Day 2023. The engagements were critical in helping to raise the profile of AICRI in the USA and further promote AICRI’s vision. Engagements were as follows:

• ‘Cancer knows no borders – celebrating tripartite cooperation to enhance cancer research’ event in the US National Cancer Institute (NCI), Bethesda

• Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) St. Patrick’s Day Science Medal Ceremony officiated by An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar

• The US Ireland R&D Partnership meeting in the US State Department The National Museum of American Diplomacy

• Meeting with Dr Patrick Forde leading medical oncologist and researcher in The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins

• Meeting with US Congressman Richard Neal Office

• Ireland Funds National Gala 2023
