Entertainment by Celine Byrne and Camille O'Sullivan.
Camille O'Sullivan finished the evening's entertainment with a rendition of Nick Cave's 'Ship'. As the lyrics resonated through St. Patrick's Hall, they underscored AICRI's mission in a profound way—emphasising the significance of each individual's contribution to the collective journey of cancer research and advocacy. 'Come sail your ships around me, And burn your bridges down, We make a little history baby, Every time you come around.' The impact of the song, with its themes of significant change and historic action, perfectly capped off the series of discussions and presentations that had filled the day. Guests left with a sense of purpose and urgency, motivated by the call to action that had been both spoken and sung: to sail new ships of innovation, burn down old bridges of limitation, and make a little history together in order to meet the challenges faced by cancer.
