AICRI participates in QUB-NCI Cancer Knows no Borders Symposium 2023

The AICRI Team participated in-person in the QUB-NCI ‘Cancer Knows No Borders’ Symposium 2023 held on the NIH Main Campus, Bethesda, MD USA on 13th March 2023.

This Joint Symposium between Queen's University Belfast (QUB) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI) builds on the success achieved through the Ireland - Northern Ireland - National Cancer Institute Cancer Consortium, which has done so much for cancer research and cancer care on the island of Ireland. The Consortium grew out of the Good Friday Agreement which brought peace and reconciliation to the island of Ireland. The symposium showcased the work of doctoral students who are co-mentored by supervisors from QUB and NCI and featured speakers from QUB, the NCI, and University College Dublin (UCD) on current and future initiatives in cancer research.
